Let’s celebrate all of the red haired beauties today. ❤️
People with red hair make up only 2% of the Earth’s population. Ireland, Scotland, and Wales have the most redheads with 10 -30% being natural redheads.
Yet, having red hair on your head doesn’t mean there is red hair everywhere. It actually varies.
Nether region hair usually matches eyebrow hair rather than the hair on one’s head.
Redheads get asked that question A LOT, so please don’t make that your intro if you’re trying to win favor.
@erinlarosalit has a great article, “How I Came to Terms With Being a Firecrotch,” on @gingerparrot about her personal journey to being in love with her own red hair.
She also wrote a book for celebrating all things redhead, The Big Redhead Book! (It has great reviews, but many suggest it’s for grownups with a sense of humor.)
