Pie 94 was made in collaboration with Simone who graciously shared the images and words for me to use in creation of my art. Here are the words:

When I started Pies in the Window in 2021 it felt like we were really at a tipping point for body positivity and self love. There was this amazing gathering of accounts and communities talking about all bodies and diversity of bodies and body parts. It felt like a celebration was happening! However over the past year, I have seen a huge swing back towards the standards being set by the diet, beauty, and entertainment industries again.
The goal cannot be to make ourselves as small and palatable as possible so that we can avoid feeling shame or being targeted for insults. We are all different and it’s beautiful.
