Let’s talk about the stigma of female body hair.
Women start shaving and plucking unwanted body hair very early in life. If you’re a hairy girl, the pressure to pluck, shave and remove it comes from all sides. It can be a source of great pain and shame for many of us.
It seems like more often than not, we all get on board with the idea that our natural hair is unhygienic or disgusting.
From our eyebrows to our toes, hair removal is big business.
How old were you when you first started removing hair? I think I was 10 when my leg hair became a source of shame.
