4″ Peach Pie
Made from scratch with all butter crust

A beautiful variety of color and textures displayed in this pie sculpture.
It was challenging to recreate the clitoris peeking out of the clitoral hood and the darkened pigment of the labia minora.
All of the coloring was recreated using natural food coloring: brute cocoa, natural cocoa, and freeze dried strawberry powder.
A little side note: I don’t make them one at a time. I make them all in a series, working on twelve at a time, take all the photos, and then share them with you over the following month. I find this easier to focus on what I’m trying create without the external reactions or stress of social media. I share this only because I really love reading about other artist’s processes and thought some of you also would.
